How do you get rid of the stupid party poker pop ups?

I've used several programs, from Norton, Spybot Search and Destroy, to other reccomended programs from yahoo answers. But nothing works, I scan, it detects spyware and then I delete it. But when I run the scan again, the same crap comes up. I had other pop ups come up, but whatever I did got rid of them. I just can't seem to get rid of these annoying party poker pop-ups that take over whatever window im currently looking at. It's driving me insane! If these people really think Im gonna wanna play on there stupid site after all this they are nuts! Somebody help!!!!! Thanks. I had the My Computer window open and it just turned into partypoker.com. Will a new browser and pop up blocker help if this is happening? Ok i got rid of all the spyware stuff on my computer with Spybot and downloaded FireFox(which im loving) and I appreciate all the help. But Im still getting the party poker stuff. Could it be something that was installed on my computer with out me knowing? If it is what do I look for?

Run Spybot again...but this time Download Mozilla Firefox and use it instead of Internet Explorer.... Also in IE if you go to Tools, then Options....click on the advanced tab...and disable all thrid party browser extensions...you will help with the problem.
Use a browser that's got a good pop up blocker. FireFox has an excellent blocker.
get a good popup blocker like norton plus a spyware protectot. it needs to stop not just show you have spyware.
hi. i also had this problem. the more you leave it the more different pop-ups you get. look for a anti virus software called windows live one care. there is a free trial of it at the moment which lasts 100 days. the software is very good at detecting computer viruses. after scanning the computer using this it found some viruses that the old anti virus software didn't. it cleaned the folder and deleted the virus. since then i have had no more of the party poker pop-ups. it takes a while when you virus scan for the first time but it detects viruses well and cleans the files properly. i hope this helps.
Best to give a try with Spyware Doctor to scan and eliminate them. If you need to block the pop ups always,change pop up blocker in internet explorer (Ver 7) to highest
goto TOOLS - Internet options - security - mark the checkbox saying " Turn on pop - ups " & if its already there then increase your security level to ur needs
you should use microsoft's windows defender alongwith other antispywares

turn your system restore off before you run a scan as some spyware hides in there and replicates itself if it is deleted, then when you are finished turn system restore back on
try this. www.komando.com its one of those radio ppl with a touch of computer genius. a great website if you ask me or try this. crear ALL files in your temporay files now start. have only one installed virus scanner installed for now.(norton) scan and delete.(do not restart yet) uninstall it and install another program then scan.( Spybot Search and Destroy) continue for another 2 programs. if it doenst work sorry,but it usully works then restart in safe mode then get out of save mode. then scan one more time.
most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage. besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE. download firefox for free, Just have a try: http://www.163flash.net/firefox/ Good Luck !!!
