i need ideas for my 21st birthday, it will be a casino themed event though?

1. Casino themed, huh?! That sounds pretty original. Alright well when I think of Vegas I think of gambling so get a roulette table, poker table, gaming table, etc. I also think of booze....need I say more?! You could do so much with Vegas icons such as Playboy, Elvis, Wayne Newton,etc.
2. How much are you willing to spend? How elaborate do you want it to be? You can rent very good table games from a lot of party rental stores. You can hire dealers, too, but that gets a bit expensive ($50-$100 per dealer). I would suggest doing the party old school Vegas style. I am not sure how a modern day casino theme would play out, as today's casinos have very little charm but casinos up until the 1960s were very classy places to be. Watch some old footage of the Rat Pack to see what I am talking about. Everybody dressed classy, no old clothes were worn. To add some color to the party, you should try to find some old school Showgirl outfits (you probably can rent some) for some of the women. Some outfits from the 1920s would work well too (a throwback to the prohibition casinos, see the movie Harlem Nights). You can have a lot of fun with the outfits. The alcohol to serve should be hard liquor. No beer and no wine. And there should be no shot glasses. You should have a few simple mixers for the liquor (coke, tonic, club soda) and lots of martini glasses. You should have a bartender who knows how to make drinks. Espcially one that is entertainng to watch. And of course you need entertainment. You might find somebody to sing old SInatra or Dean Martin songs. With it being a casino, you may even look into hiring an Elvis. I don't know how big your home is, but you may want to have two table games going (Craps and Blackjack perhaps?). A few more if your home is bigger and you have the budget for it.
3. We did this one year. Make up money with your picture on it (xerox it on green paper), get family members to be dealers, you can rent equipment or find it at Toys R Us. At the end of the evening we had an auction of items that people could buy with their winnings.
